Three days of exciting events include:
Post-Board Optional Program
Wednesday-Friday, June 1-3, 2011
Relish the rich history of the region, from the biblical vistas of the Zin Canyon to the unique archeology and geology of the ancient Nabatean spice route. Along the way we will taste from the fruits of the land as they are being reinterpreted by today’s pioneers who are developing sustainable cottage industries throughout the Negev. A jeep tour of the Ramon Crater will be accompanied by faculty members who will share their knowledge and appreciation for this unique location.
At the heart of this tour is a two-night stay at the Beresheet (Genesis) Hotel, where you can relax and enjoy the luxurious facilities. Located overlooking the breathtaking Ramon Crater, Israel’s newest hotel provides a magical desert experience that combines panoramic views of one of nature’s genuine wonders with the highest standards of service, as promised by Isrotel’s Luxury Collection.
We have reserved a block of seats for those interested in continuing on to the Dead Sea for a breathtaking nighttime performance of Verdi’s opera Aida by the Israeli Opera at the foothills of Masada on June 4th.
Due to the huge success of the opera performance held there last year, this year’s tickets must be reserved no later than January 10, 2011. Any reservations made after that date will be subject to availability and a change of rates. This package includes two nights’ accommodation, breakfast and dinner at the Leonardo Dead Sea Hotel, and transportation to and from the event.
